Zone Diet - Lime Spice Chicken

Ingredients:
  • 4oz.skinless, boneless, fatless chicken breast
  • Lime to taste
  • Crushed Red Pepper to taste
  • Lawrey's Season Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp. olive oil
  • 1 cups green beans
  • 1 cup applesauce
  • 1 macadamia nut,or 1 1/2 tsp. slivered almonds, or 6 peanuts

Directions:

  • Heat on high a nonstick or cast iron pan with olive oil.

  • Place chicken in heated pan. Add red pepper and Lawrey's.

  • Reduce heat to medium low after 4 minutes. Turn chicken frequently.

  • Last five minutes of cooking, squeeze 1/4 lime on chicken.

  • Total cooking time is 17 minutes. Serve with green beans.

  • Finish your meal with applesauce and nuts.
